Davao City, Philippines – June 2, 2025 — The University of Mindanao - Research and Publication Center (UM-RPC) proudly welcomes its newly appointed Innovation and Technology Support Office (ITSO) Manager, Ms. Dyle S. Legaspi, effective this June 2025.
With a strong background in intellectual property management, research commercialization, and innovation systems, Legaspi brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to the university’s growing research and innovation ecosystem. As the new ITSO Manager, she will be at the forefront of strengthening the university’s initiatives in patenting, technology transfer, and research-based entrepreneurship.
The ITSO plays a crucial role in bridging research outputs with industry needs by providing services in prior art search, patent drafting, intellectual property (IP) education, and technology commercialization. With Legaspi's appointment, the UM-RPC is optimistic about scaling up its contributions to national development through innovation and IP-driven research.
